I wanted to post Easton's 6 month stats
At 6 months he was 15lbs and 3.5 ounces
27 and 3/4 inches tall
And these tidbits are Easton up to now (which is 6 1/2 months)
Easton had a 2nd visit to the hospital since he was born... not fun! He got the stomach flu and was mildly dehydrated so I am glad we took him in when we did.
Right now Easton can't sit up on his own, but I think its because he'd much rather be down scooting around. Yes, that's correct. Easton can army crawl everywhere and he's pretty fast too.
Easton sleeps on average 11 hours at night. Pure bliss!
He loves his binky! He will sit there and play with it and twist it around in his mouth and then suck on it up-side down. He loves to put pretty much anything in his mouth actually. Haha.
He also loves anything electronic. If he spots the remote or a cell phone on the ground he is there before you even realize it changing the channel or something. Stinker!
Easton has just recently discovered we have a cat. She apparently is more aware of him too. She'll come up to him now and sniff his face, to which he will just lay there and open his mouth while she does it. Ha! She especially loves his new found ability to army crawl as he follows her around the house. Not really... the reason I say "around the house" is because she keeps moving around to get away from him.
Easton loves bath time! If he is tired and fussy I can stick him in the tub and everything is better.
Easton went swimming for the first time Wednesday and loved it! He kept trying to wiggle away from me thinking he could do it on his own. My own personal fish boy someday I'm sure. I'm excited we got season passes to Wet n Wild because he loves the water so it will be nice to get outside on the hot summer days.
Easton also loves to be sung to. His favorite is the "Baby Bumblebee" song. When he was getting an IV at the hospital we told the nurse to sing it and he immediately stopped crying.
Easton's favorite food right now is Peaches... just like his daddy :)
Easton already loves baseball (of course). He sat through the Diamondbacks game and also sits through Jameson's softball games on Tuesday nights. It's hard to get him to sit still for anything but that so it must be in his blood already.
Easton loves his daddy.
Jameson gets the biggest smiles from E-bay or Easton bug when he gets home from work (those are Jameson's nicknames for him).
These 6 months have really gone by fast, but I can't imagine and different life than now. Easton is so happy and brings so much joy to our little family.
love him!
