Gingerbread men,Christmas lights, a wise man, and Santa Clause!

Christmas is always such a great time of year for kids and adults alike. This year was no different with visits to see Santa, a ward Christmas play, talks about the Savior, treats and Christmas morning magic!

Decorating our Christmas tree. This was the first year we decided to have a real tree! Something about Georgia changed Jameson's mind about having one. It was a pain in the butt to put up and really sticky, but totally worth it!

Driving around to find Christmas lights. Jameson discovered a neighborhood one day while he was working where almost every house was lit as well as all the trees lining the streets. It was awesome!

Oh and this is when we took Easton to see the new Star Wars movie with his buddy Kenny. He absolutely loved the movie and asks us almost every day when it will come out on DVD. Also, he's super excited to meet Darth Vader at Disneyland in a few weeks when we go...

A Turkey trot and a Thanksgiving feast!

On Thanksgiving morning some friends of ours hosted a "turkey trot" at the park where the kids dressed up like turkeys and ran a little race. They were awarded with cookie medals and wrote down what they were thankful for. It was a fun time.

 

 

Also, the week before, Easton had a Thanksgiving lunch feast at his school. All the kiddos dressed up like Pilgrims and Indians and sang the cutest songs.

 

 

Halloween

Wow... talk about being behind. I don't even have a good excuse for it either.

We had a fun filled Halloween season this year as usual, including a school parade, library dance party, fall festivals, a visit from grandma, pumpkin carving, church trunk or treat, city TRUCK or treat, and trick or treating with the neighbor friends!

Ward Halloween trunk or treat... let the candy coma and sugar overload continue

 

 

The city of Sugar Hill put together a cute TRUCK or treat where you can go check out cool cars, trucks, and limos, while also collecting candy along the way. It was during Gavin's nap time so we enjoyed some one-on-one mommy and Easton time.

 

 

 

 

 

The last of the festivities was trick or treating on Halloween. We had grandma in town, and Uncle TJ and Aunt Chelsea came over to join the trick or treating fun. Let me tell you... trick or treating is much more enjoyable when you have multiple adults to keep those sugar-filled kids in line!
