We had a lot of fun fall activities going on this year. One of my favorite is apple picking, which we didn't end up getting to do, but it definitely on my list for next year! Jameson's parents visited for a whole week, but apple picking isn't open on the weekdays and it would have been the time we were able to go. But that's ok because we had plenty of fun fall activities going on anyway-
The first fall thing I did this year was get to go to the Corn Maze with the youth. I serve with a pretty great bunch of ladies and I love that they were willing to do this picture with me.
Next, Gavin and I went with a preschool group to the Thompson Tree Farm where we got to do a hayride, read a pumpkin story, feed the furry cows, and search for a baby boo pumpkin. We've done this in year's past and its always a great time!
I love the one-on-one time I get to spend with my little buddy
Have you ever seen such a furry cow before?
Next it was Easton and mine's turn for a little farm fun at Jaemor Farms! We had a fun time with his class learning about how honey is made, riding the "hey" ride, picking out a pumpkin, seeing where they wash and box apples from the farm, and riding the big slide. Oh, and picking up some delicious apple cider donuts and fried pies to bring home!
Love my little pre-k buddy and all his sweet classmates!
And finally, Easton's school had a fun fall festival the weekend before Halloween. Kids got to dress in their costumes and do all sorts of fun things including- Meeting a Minion, playing on the bounce houses and slides, going into a scary "haunted house" (which neither of mine will ever want to do again- you'd think they'd tone it down for a group of 4 and 5 year olds, but you'd be mistaken!), ride the train, ride the ponies, get animal balloons, face and hair painting, and of course collecting candy along the way
