Winter Fun and Random Happenings

Most of our winter this year was spent inside snuggled up on the couch watching movies and playing hide n go seek.

Every now and then we would venture outside to the mall or the indoor play place

This boy also went through a phase where any time he pooped he had to take of all his clothes. So silly!

Easton also gave his first talk in primary in January. He loved being the center of attention and saying all his lines with daddy's help

I hosted our preschool class a few times during the winter weather. One week we did a Snowman theme and another we did shapes. Here they are all showing me their shaped snacks.

One morning I took the boys on a run to Kohls with me to return some stuff. It turned out to be pretty eventful when I locked the boys inside the car with my keys. I was putting Gavin in his seat when he grabbed the keys out of my mouth and started playing with them. After I buckled him in I went to put Easton in and set the keys on the driver seat. After I buckled Easton I shut the door and went to open mine when I realized I was locked out. Not a good moment. I frantically called 911 who sent the fire department to save me. The boys thought that seeing the fire truck was pretty cool and getting plastic fireman hats from the nice fire fighters.

We also had one heck of a cold night this year. No snow, but just lots and lots of ice and being stuck inside until it all melted off the roads. Snow would have been way more fun...
