A fun-filled Birthday!

I can hardly believe my little Easton is 4 years old. Time has quickly
flown by.
The birthday boy woke up to a fun surprise of balloons scattered all over his floor. When I walked in his room that morning he tried to explain the bewildering fact that the balloons just magically showed up over night. He was really puzzled, but excited.

That morning I had to teach joyschool, but before our friends arrived I sent grandpa out to get Easton's favorite morning treat- doughnuts! We then had our friends come over for school and enjoyed learning about apples and teaching 4 year olds (which I guess is complicated for this age) the game of duck-duck-goose. Easton was super excited to wear his new ninja turtle shirt from Grandma but would barely hold still long enough for a decent picture. Silly boy!

After school we let Easton pick out anywhere he wanted for lunch and his choice was no surprise- Chick Fil A. That boy loves those waffle fries almost as much as I do! When they learned it was his birthday they gave him a balloon and free cookie! (Another reason I love that place)

After lunch we headed home for naps and got ready for the party. The bounce house arrived early so Easton and I jumped for a bit and took some selfies while waiting for our guests to arrive!

His party was simple this year, but oh so fun! There was jumping, ninja turtle fruit snacks, cookies, turtle masks, coloring, and of course- PIZZA!

The only picture I got of one of my boys jumping... don't know how that happened but I promise you the bounce house was a hit and we could barely get the kids out for cake!

Easton's favorite part was everyone singing to him and blowing out the candles on his cake. He is getting so big!

There were also way too many presents, but of course Easton had fun opening them all. I was so glad my parents could be here to celebrate, as well as my brother and his wife. I love having family so close by again!

Happy Birthday to my Easton bug!
