Well besides the usual stuff... Busy being cute and all
We recently went to Zoo Atlanta. We enjoyed visiting a new zoo and seeing some new animals. This one actually seemed quite small compared to the one back home, but I think that's because the aquarium is a separate attraction. Easton LOVED that there were elephants...
This was also Gavin's first trip to the zoo... He pretty much just chilled
You had to pay to feed the giraffes, but it was totally worth it since Easton actually fed the giraffe himself.
Other animals we enjoyed seeing were the gorillas (there were TONS of gorillas!!), orangutans, black bears, and panda bears.
These goats are much more calm than the goats in the petting zoo back home...
Still just chilling...
And of course we had to end the day with the merry-go-round and the train (Easton is saying "choo-choo" in the picture above).
One thing different about living in Georgia is the small town feel. We were invited to an event called 'Game on the Green' where you watch the baseball game on a big screen in the park. They have inflatables and bounce houses for the kids and its all free. We had fun even if we aren't Braves fans
Easton loves this little tomahawk he got. He calls it his hammer and carried it everywhere with him the days following this
Again... Gavin is usually just sitting and chilling somewhere. He is a really good baby!
Towards the end Easton and Alaina were more interested in playing games on the phone rather than watching the game itself...but whatever works to keep Easton from wandering off
We started going to pool group once a week. All the communities have pools instead of everyone having a pool in their backyard. So once a week someone from the ward hosts at their pool and it makes for a fun afternoon cooling off..
I also put Easton in swim lessons this past week. Somehow we got an email about it and it was a ridiculously reasonable price. They're private lessons so it's nice 1-on-1 time. Easton was pretty hesitant the first two days, but today was a complete 180! He did awesome and I'm thinking about doing a few more lessons next week to help him get a little more comfortable around the water.
Oh and then there was that one random time we went to a carnival in a parking lot. It was a Friday night and we had nothing better to do :)
Easton loved every second of it!
Then the one time we went to Chuck-e-Cheese!
And there ya have it...

Looks like you guys are livin' it up! LOVE it! The baseball in the park thing looks fun...don't you love being able to go outside in spring/summer lol?? Easton is getting sooo big! He looks so grown up!
ReplyDeleteWow! It all looks so fun! Way to keep busy and get to know your new city. Also you just have to become Braves fans now that you live in Atlanta, if only so you feel proud doing the tomahawk cheer!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you guys are loving it there. Both of your boys are adorable and getting so big!
