Gavin's two month check-in

I cannot believe with everything that's happened after we had Gavin that its been two months already. This little guy has already grown so much and I'm sad he won't be little much longer.

He now weighs 10lbs 3 oz and is 23 inches long. Easton was about the same at 2 months, but two inches longer. Gavin has a little more chub, which I love!

Gavin is such a good baby. Besides the occasional gassy fits he only cries when he's hungry. Such a change from Easton that I feel like now I know what it's like to have a good baby because I use to think Easton was a pretty good baby until I had Gavin. Haha

Gavin has started to show quite the personality. He gives smiles and coos all the time. Mostly for mommy of course. He is definitely a mommy's boy right now.

He hates big brothers loud shrieks and squeals, but makes the cutest sad face you've ever seen afterwards.

He takes both a bottle and breastfeeds. In the beginning I had a hard time nursing him so I started using a nipple guard (these things are the best!!) Because of that now he nurses great and takes a bottle whenever I need him to.

He only wakes me up once a night. Love this! I started giving him a bottle for his middle of the night feeding to let us both go back to bed quicker. He is a SLOW nurser and often takes anywhere between 30-45 minutes to eat.

He's very strong and has been holding his head up really good for weeks now. I do not want him rolling and crawling as quickly as Easton did though.

He loves bath time.

He has the smelliest hands... hand down!  Seriously, you have to smell them to believe it. He still always keeps his fists tightly clenched, resulting in very smelly, clammy hands no matter how many times you bathe him. Hopefully once he gets older he'll relax his hands more allowing them to air out every now and then.

We love our little Gavin to pieces and I am so grateful he is such a good baby. It has made our transition out here to Georgia and the transition from 1 to 2 kids  a lot easier and a lot less stressful.

Here is the cutie pie himself...
