A little sneak peak at the maternity pictures my sister in law took for us. I was really happy with the few she's showed us so far and they'll be great to use for a baby book.
Since all the excitement and news with the move, these last couple weeks of my pregnancy have been going by really fast (can't complain there). We officially set a date to be induced on the 9th of March. Even though I thoroughly enjoyed going into labor all on my own with Easton, we felt like with the move coming we needed to plan a date for when this baby would be here. It feels a little weird not preparing as much as we did with Easton though because I didn't have to get his room ready (no point since we're moving) and since we basically had everything we already needed for his arrival. We still haven't decided on a name yet for him, but are getting closer than we have been to narrowing it down.
As time gets closer I'm getting more and more excited to have a sweet little wrinkly newborn to snuggle with and I'm excited for Easton to be a big brother. I think I'm done being pregnant too at this point too. Stairs are a difficult task, my back is constantly achy, and I could do without the frequent bathroom trips. I've also gone back to the "nap when he naps" phase, feeling quite tired these last couple weeks. Especially since Jameson has been getting a few things ready for us in Atlanta this past week, I definitely underestimated the task of being a single mom and being 38 weeks pregnant.
But most of all we are just excited and ready for this little boy to get here and excited for the adventures the next couple months with hold :)

ugh! You are a strong momma to be doing that on your own!
ReplyDeleteP.S. the "nap when they nap" thing doesn't starts in your last trimester with your 2nd baby and doesn't ever go away....
I take a nap almost every day lol.
Yay! So excited for you guys, only two more days. I can't wait to see him!
