4th of July

Day 1 of our 4th of July weekend was spent at Sparks in the Park. A fun free family event with bounce houses, game booths, FOOD TRUCKS!, and a nearby playground. All while we wait for the real show to start with the Fireworks (Disclaimer- I can never capture good firework pictures, I need to learn cuz I am disappointed about this every year)

One thing I did learn from last year are headphones! Gavin happily sat and watched the whole show without freaking out about the loud booms

Day 2 (On the actual 4th) we spent the afternoon swimming with our friends Gary and Ali, eating hot dogs with all the fixins', and enjoying our own personal neighborhood firework show. Daddy bought some of his own and we watched all the neighbors as well. Here in Georgia the big ones were legal so it made for a pretty cool display, as well while being able to avoid all the after-show traffic and get home at a decent time for church the next morning...

Love this holiday and love America!
