Family Reunion Part 2: St Louis

So after spending a few fun filled days in Nauvoo and an afternoon at Carthage, we headed back to St Louis.

Our main day spent in St Louis started with a trip to our niece Hailey's grave. It was a bittersweet moment. It is crazy to think she would have been almost 5 years old by now and just another little running around at family reunions.

After that we stopped to get some Dewey's pizza (famous for its gourmet St Louis style pizzas! Yum!) before heading to the zoo for the rest of the day.

One of us didn't make it to lunch time...

It was pretty hot by the time we got to the zoo, so hot that not a lot of the animals even wanted to be out. Good thing the zoo was free!

The last few days in St Louis were spent doing low-key things like swimming at the hotel, visiting an outlet mall, and bbq-ing at Billy and Crystal's house. We had a great time seeing family and going to Nauvoo for the first time. I loved it and I can't wait to go back when the boys are older and can enjoy the tour parts of it more.
