This past Wednesday January 4th was our 4 year wedding anniversary! I wasn't going to tell Jameson at all what we were doing until we were on our way, but I spilled the beans early on Christmas day of my plans. And just FYI all these pictures are from the internet because I did not take any of my own pictures :(
So anyway, to begin Jameson got off work early on Tuesday and we headed over to the in-laws to drop off the little guy. We made a quick stop at IKEA to look at some toy storage ideas for Easton's room before heading over to Jameson's favorite place in the world- The Brazilian Bull steakhouse! Delicious as always, we stuffed our bellies full of the best tasting meat you can imagine! We finally surrendered all our tummies could handle and headed to our hotel "casita" for the night. Jameson's aunt works at the Sanctuary resort and spa in Scottsdale and its super nice! Working there she has met many celebrities so you can imagine the fancy smancy-ness of it. Plus, I like the idea of not having a hotel room where you walk down a hall room by room, but instead we had a secluded little spot just for us. It was amazing!

After taking a bath in their soak tub we were ready to relax the rest of the night away- baby free! We put on our fancy- shmancy robes and drank our sparkling cider in fancy-shmancy glasses. The glasses in fact were so fancy Jameson was hesitant to give it to me afraid I might drop it. Haha. Anywho, the rest of the night was amazing and it was great to "get-away" from it all for a while.
The next morning we checked out, but not before I took another bath in the soak tub. So relaxing! We then went to one of my favorite places in the world- Sprinkles! Yum! I indulged on a delicious red velvet cupcake and a pumpkin cupcake.
(again not my picture, but you get the idea :))
Following Sprinkles we went to the dine-in theater for lunch and a movie. The movie was cute, but we weren't impressed with the food.
It was still a nice way to end our little "get-away." I told Jameson next year for our 5 year anniversary he should surprise me... with a cruise :D

Looks like you guys had a great time and I agree a cruise would be a good 5 year anniversary trip. Happy Annivesary!!
ReplyDeleteYAY!! happy anniversary hunters! what did you order?!
ReplyDeleteJameson had a fajita wrap and I had a bacon cheeseburger. We both said they were just ok when we were done. Mine tasted plain.
