All the little things

I just realized the other day how many cute little things I find you doing throughout the day and I wanted to write them all down before I forget.

So this is for you little buddy...

You love your blanket! The only way I can get snuggles out of you is if I drape your blanket over my shoulder for you to lay your head on me. It never lasts very long, but I love it!

You learned how to wave bye-bye! I'm not quite sure if you know what it means yet, but anytime you do it you get some sort of reaction out of mommy and daddy so you keep doing it with a smile on your face.

You LOVE kisses! You like to give them and receive them now... they're the big open mouth kind, which I don't mind if it's coming from you :)

You kissed your first girl (without crying that is). Lexie will always be your first, but Kennedy was the first girl you tried to kiss all on your own. You walked right up to her and leaned in with that big open mouth. I guess I'm in trouble if you're already starting that early.

One more thing you like to kiss is daddy. Not on daddy's lips though... actually you like to pull up daddy's shirt when he's lying on the floor and give him a wet one right on his belly! He doesn't mind this either :)

You actually LOVE elmo! It's not just some silly cartoon mommy turns on the morning to keep you occupied. When you hear that little jingle "La-La-La-La" you turn and look in the direction of the TV with a big smile on your face.

You think bubbles are fun! Then again what baby doesn't. The first time you saw bubbles you laughed and smiled and got mad when they were all gone.

You still love your kitty Callie. You squeal and giggle whenever she walks by. You try and chase after her, but she'll usually run upstairs to get away from you. One day she'll love you back :)

Um... what else... Oh you also LOVE your sippy cup. You don't necessarily like to drink out of it... you'd be just as happy with an empty one as long as you can walk around and just play with it.

I can hardly believe you'll be ONE in just over a month from now. You've grown so fast and you bring mommy so much joy everyday. I find myself laughing and smiling at mostly everything you do. Now matter how big you get you'll always be my little peanut. I love you!
