1 Month Already??

I cannot believe my sweet little Easton is one month old today! The expression "time flies" is totally understated when you have a kid.

I love my little guy SoooOOOoooo much! It is so much fun seeing him get bigger and do the little things you love to see a new baby do. They say babies aren't social at this age and so they only really smile when they fall asleep, but I swear he smiles at me all the time. I just can't capture it on film because its so fast. But he does smile as he falls asleep and I did manage to catch that...

He's also starting to hold his head up, which makes him less 'newborn fragile' now. He's developing a personality more and more each day. And now when he's awake instead of crying all the time he's starting to take more notice to the world around him. He's finally content just laying on his own trying to make out his surroundings.

And although he is one month old today, I had to stop putting it off and finally take him in to get his second newborn screening done. He did not like that very much!!

Poor little guy handled it like a champ though. So sad to see him so happy and then in one second start screaming his head off :(

I gotta say though it is so awesome being a mom! I love my new full time job. Even though its sometimes stressful, it is totally worth it and one of the most joyful things in the world!!
