Last minute trip to Idaho!

So this last weekend we went to Idaho to see Jameson's sister bless her baby. We didn't think we could go at first because we are taking a week off at the end of July to go to Star Valley. Then while I was at work, Jeff came out and surprised us that we get Monday July 5th off from work. YAY!! I was so excited and thought... well what could we do?? Immediately I thought Idaho! So when we got home from work we looked up flights to Salt Lake and WOAH were they expensive. You can never book flights last minute without it costing you an arm and a leg. So we called Jameson's parents and they agreed to wait for us to get off work on Friday and drive up with us. Now being 6 months pregnant, driving was not my first choice, but I decided to suck it up anyways. The best part about all of this is Jameson talked to his sister a week before this and told her we weren't going to make it, so when we found out we could go we decided to keep it a secret. This was the funnest surprise to keep secret and be a part of :D
When we got to Holly's house on Saturday we had Jameson's dad drop us off around the corner. We showed up at their house a few minutes after everyone arrived and rang the door bell. Dan opened the door only part way and Jameson acted like he was out of breath to joke that we had walked the whole way there. Then when Dan opened the door all the way he said "Holly look whose here!" Her face was priceless! She was shocked, but very excited to see us. Well worth the trip to be there for Holly and Dan, who had a beautiful blessing.
Unfortunately I did bring my nice camera with me, but I left the battery at home charging in the wall. I did bring my small digital camera, but that battery was dying too so I only managed a few pictures before it completely died....

Here is sweet little Jordyn holding baby Callie. I honestly hope I have a little girl just like Jordyn. She is the sweetest little girl ever! She will be your best friend if you just smile at her. When we got back to Provo on Sunday night, me and her had a tea party and then we got ready for bed. I did her hair and we washed our faces together. I told her to splash the water on her face to wash off the soap... bad idea. She splashed water over her head and ALL over me. But it really was the cutest!

These were the last two pictures I got before my camera died. Here is Jameson with his favorite part of the trip... FIREWORKS!!! They were definitely a lot of fun AND LEGAL IN IDAHO! Oh and I cant remember any fourth of July where we were freezing our butts off in the middle of the summer! Notice Jameson's heavy duty, double insulated jacket.
All in all, this was a great trip and vacation! Minus the driving... by the end of the drive home on Monday I was ready to be done. I think everything hurt and no position seemed comfortable. My wonderful husband did massage my legs and feet for about a good hour on the home stretch because he knew I was having a hard time. My bed also never looked so good... even if it is still on the floor in the other room :P
I cant wait til the end of July when we get work off for a whole week! Woohoo! Thank goodness we're flying!!
