house pictures... finally!

Ok here are the pictures of our wonderful super amazing new house finally. We feel so blessed to be here and we love the area. Minus the crazy dog next door who loves to bark every morning at 5.. I hope it doesn't last much longer. We also love our ward. I have to tell you a funny awesome story about our ward before you scroll down to see pictures... So we were sitting in Sunday School (which I also love by the way since I have not been to Sunday School for two years because I was in nursery forever) But anyways, we were learning about Moses and his people after they crossed the Red Sea from Egypt. We were discussing how they were murmuring against Moses for everything they had to leave behind in Egypt compared to what they had in the wilderness. So our teacher was talking about the pride cycle and how we have to be humbled sometimes to make us remember the important things we have and to remember Christ. So the teacher asks us, what has humbled us in our lives? So Jameson raises his hand, (I was a little nervous because sometimes Jameson says things and I wonder what the heck he is going to say)... So he raises his hand and tells everyone that we just moved into the ward and are starting out on our own in a house. He said when we were kids we were use to coming home and opening the fridge and having everything in there, like ice cream. Now when we he comes home you just don't have that kind of stuff in the fridge anymore.... I cant remember it exactly, but he also missed the punch line. What he was meaning (not just referring to the ice cream) was that living on our own we have learned how to provide for ourselves because our parents don't provide that for us anymore and we were humbled by this. So anyways, after Sunday School a very nice older couple came up to Jameson and asked us for our address. He said he wanted to buy us some ice cream. When they actually showed up at our house with a HUGE tub of cookies n' cream ice cream I so shocked, and excited of course. (Pregnant+Ice Cream= GOOD!!). We have such a good ward and feel so welcome already.
We are humbled that we have this amazing house and have needs possible to provide for our selves, the things we need, and even some of the things we may not need. But it was also good to know living out here so far away from our families, we have a ward family who is here to help take care of us if we need anything... or just stop by to bring us ice cream because they wanted to.

So anyways, now moving on... here are some pictures of the house. Its still a work in progress, but enjoy! House warming party soon to come :)

  1. Yay! I really love it. The colors in your kitchen and family room are great - the furniture, too. The master bedroom color looks very familiar (looks like our entire house! I love Tuscan yellow). Great job, guys.
