Gavin at 9 months (1 month over due)

This little guy is ten months old now. I'm a little behind on his 9 month update so we're doing it now.

At his Dr check up he was exactly 20lbs and 29 inches tall

And he still has a very big head

All within a two weeks time Gavin sat up, started crawling, and then pulling himself up on furniture

Now he pulls himself up all the time and even walks along the furniture

Gavin loves the stairs and usually makes it half way up before I catch him or remember to put the gate up. He is going to be my climber!

Gavin is taking advantage of our kitchen cupboards not having any baby locks on them (rental)

Gavin has two adorable little teeth on the bottom

He eats lots of different table foods
His favorites are strawberries and bananas. He can eat a whole banana in one sitting

He also eats pears, peaches, crackers, cheerios, black beans, bread, and occasionally peas and green beans. He's not very into the vegetables (shocker!)

Gavin sleeps 12 hours at night and takes two naps a day

He still loves his mommy and cries sometimes when I leave

He is a very happy and smiley boy! I can't believe he'll be 1 in just a couple of months!

**Side note- Besides these next two pictures, sorry for the poor quality. A lot of the pictures I take on my phone because it's what I have handy. Either way he's still cute, even if the photographer in me can't stand the poor quality pics. Just enjoy the cuteness!

Christmas Eve

Playing with toys

I just love this little cutie!

Christmas morning

This year the idea of Santa was magical to Easton. We put out cookies for the first time and wrote him a letter. Plus this was also the first year he went to see Santa and didn't scream or get scared. He was the exact opposite telling Santa exactly what he wanted for Christmas. (PS. Did you know Bass Pro Shops has pictures with Santa for free! Plus a carousel and a little workshop to write letters all for free! It was awesome!)

Here are the boys on Christmas Eve in their Christmas pajamas!

He has a new obsession for Mario things and bears

Gavin loved his presents

Gavin also loved the bows and ribbons just as much as the toys inside. Go figure

The two main things he told Santa he wanted was a BIG dinosaur and a Thomas Train. Santa pulled through :)

It was a great day full of good memories! Here's to Gavin's first Christmas and our first Christmas in Georgia!

Gingerbread house and train

I had lots of fun (quite possibly even more than Easton) making fun Christmas treats this year.
We made a Gingerbread house, Gingerbread train, sugar cookies (not pictured) and Christmas trees from ice cream cones.

The House

This picture is from when we were decorating sugar cookies. I probably didn't get a picture of the cookies because Easton was eating them as fast as we were decorating them. Which is the best part anyway right?

Play Group at the Farm

I never posted about the time our ward play group went to the farm. We have lots of fun little ones in our ward and had a great time feeding animals, having a picnic lunch, listening to a story, and picking out a baby pumpkin! I guess this has been a tradition now for a few years and I'm glad we were able to be apart of it this year.

We fed these goats and cows. These are by far the coolest looking cows I have ever seen!

It was a fun and beautiful fall day!
