A Halloween Boo-thday Party!

My big boy turned 3 this last week and we had a fun Halloween themed birthday party for him. Lucky for us the weather outside was gorgeous and we had the party in our very own backyard. I was worried about entertainment for the kiddos and had some themed games in mind, but Jameson ended up getting a deal renting a huge bounce house. This was definitely the hit of the night... not theme related but super fun!

The theme was well thought out with food. I made really cute Halloween font tags saying what all the food was suppose to be, but they got wet and ruined as we were setting up. Just imagine things like "witches brew" "ghost poop" and "monster brains"

most of the time we were either eating or kids were bouncing...

We also had a pinata. It was super durable and no one could bust it open so after everyone had a chance to try whacking it Jameson just threw it up in the air til it busted open.

We had a young group of kids so instead of a crazy candy grabbing frenzy, all the kiddos picked and chose what they wanted

And then we ended the night opening presents and blowing out candles on the cupcake.

I love my big 3 year old and can't believe its been 3 years already.
He had a great birthday, but we sure did miss all our friends back home when sharing this special day with Easton.

Cumming Country Fair

This last Wednesday we went to the Cumming Fair. You can imagine my excitement when Jameson mentioned it because he was not a fan of the Arizona state fair and we never went. But Jameson's co-worker buddies raved about how fun it was and I would have to agree.

The main reason we decided to check it out was the Tiger Encounter show, which Easton loved!

Waiting for it to start...

And of course we couldn't leave without getting some yummy funnel cake that reminded me of the beignets at Disneyland! Yum!

Buford corn maze and BJ's Reece's apple farm

Fall is upon us here in Georgia and I am loving it! Leaves falling from the trees, fall festivals, pumpkin patches, fresh apple cider, apple picking, hay rides, petting zoos... So much to do here and I want to do it all! Haha

Last week we went to the Buford corn maze and farm. It was the perfect thing to get our fall festivities started. They had a corn maze, pony rides, bounce house, a tractor ride, a corn box, baby pigs and cows for viewing, and a variety of pumpkins to pick from to take home.

Corn box. Way better than a sand box

Farm animal family pictures

Its skill sticking your head in one of those things with a baby strapped to you
and getting the baby's head too. Haha

And today we visited BJ Reece's apple farm that allows you to pick your own apples straight from the tree. Granny Smith, Red Delicious, Gala, Golden delicious, and a few others kinds of apples I've never heard of. They also had  fresh apple cider, and a wagon ride, and a petting zoo, which my animal boy loved of course!

He was eating the apples faster than he could pick them

Semi- hot day, but fun! Even Gavin picked an apple
